The Shelby County Fair is fast upon us and Shop and Crop items need to be dropped off at the FFA building Saturday morning between 9:00am to 12:00pm. When you drop your projects off that's when you will receive your Fair pass for the week. Above you will find the entries that i put in for you. Along with the Junior Fair White Pages. Reference Pages 47 and 48 to se descriptions. If you didn't Take a Picture at the FFA picnic at the end of the year there will not be a pass for you however you still have time if you get it to me before Saturday morning. Also there is a link above for the online DUNF form that needs filled out by all animals going through the Sale ring or Lactating animals that are in Milk. Questions call Mr. Sailor at 937-726-7698 and I look forward to seeing you all at the Fair.
A completed and approved Drug Use Notification Form (DUNF) MUST be submitted for Junior Fair market steers, market lambs, market hogs, veal calves, market dairy steers, market goats, lactating dairy cattle, lactating goats, meat pens of poultry, and market rabbits. A separate form must be completed for EACH animal. Feeder calves only require a DUNF if they are going directly to slaughter from the fairgrounds.
- Any animal for which there is not a completed DUNF on file will not be permitted to show or sell
- All animals for which DUNF's are submitted must be "drug free" by the DUNF submission prior to animal weigh-in. If an animal has a medication listed on the DUNF for which the withdrawal requirement has not been achieved by weigh-in, then that animal will not be permitted to show or sell, and quarantine arrangements will be decided by the board
